Treat QM as answering real physical questions. Sakurai says if you can't even explain how an atom radiates then what's the point of all the maths. 2/2

1. physicists always say qm is much easier than cm but it takes a while to understand why
2. it's not the math per se but certain 'physical foundations' that take a while to absorb eg. selection rules, cross-sections, perturbative orders... 1/2
