@EvyHorrorII@yejiiiiiz It’s not stupidity, it’s likely severe dyslexia which is a phonological processing issue. Dyslexia and intelligence don’t correlate, even though popular culture attributes one.
@AndrewMCFC93@unknown74user@0palautumn@jnsulz@xsolddtt Dismissal arising from discrimination (pregnancy is a protected characteristic under equality act 2010) is automatically unfair, meaning the 2 year window doesn’t apply. Tangent - but relevant - the 2 year rule will change to 6 months in early 2027.
@Jimlfc1992@SHINlCHI_@tbh_46 Now if you're dismissed without discrimination being proved that's a different concept entirely. But pregnancy is a protected characteristic and therefore cannot be lawfully discriminated against.
@Jimlfc1992@SHINlCHI_@tbh_46 I don't know where people are getting this probation myth from. Discrimination makes a case automatically unfair doesn't matter if you've been there 1 hour or 60 years. The moment you're employed you have the protection of the employment act.
