You have everyone over a period of a week register, you then release tickets randomly at say 20,000 every ten minutes over the course of a day
No server issues, completely fair and random
Instead 14million of you press a button at the same time

@OctopusEnergy tried to reduce my direct debit “uh oh, something went wrong, unknown error” tried 6 times, unknown error, out of curiosity to see if it was deliberate, tried higher amount, changed instantly!! Tried to change back, “unknown error!” Octopus scam!
@OctopusEnergy@MartinSLewis maybe one for you to expose? Octopus have an algorithm which looks at your account and splashes up a fake technical error if you try to reduce your direct debit, but no error if you increase it!!
