Australia’s conservative and anti-risk taking approach to test cricket will be their downfall this time next year.
England are innovating, and yes they’re volatile at times.
By this time next year England would have tried multiple formulas. Australia have changed nothing.
The interesting thing about this #GeneralElection2024 is that if it was Australia we were in; a Conservative government would still be possible. If preferential votes existed and it wasn’t first-past-the-post.
Instead it’s pictured as a landslide, no method is right or wrong.
@rohan_connolly It is interesting how many men crawl out of the woodwork feeling so upset that this violence towards women is being highlighted. That is very telling in itself.
Also… Whether or not someone has died as a result of being vaccinated (I’ll give you the tip, it’s the latter) you don’t need to bombard the comments section immediately after they’ve passed pushing a political narrative.
How about some human empathy?! Have we forgotten how?!
Like a game of chess. Intriguing watch. Title race well and truly alive!
Arsenal leave with more positives than City, clean sheet at the Etihad. Defensively stout.
City still title favourites for mine.

@cricketcomau The reason this is different to Matthew Wade vs Neil Wagner (NZ) is:
Matthew Wade had gone in with the intention of not scoring, his objective was to wear it on the body.
Bancroft has just seen that ball coming, done what he can to avoid it but then realises he has to wear it.
Anyone know who the bloke fielding at mid-off for Nathan Lyon’s over was?
I assume a club cricketer of some kind since Renshaw is up on the Gold Coast for tonight’s Big Bash game?
Unfortunatley it’s very obvious when the @FoxCricket commentators aren’t at the venue. They’ve got a great team but it makes it hard to watch at times.

Lyon has 500 test wickets and I don’t, but I feel sometimes he’s a bit too scared of going for runs.
Masood likes to attack him and Lyon doesn’t want him to do it again so is firing them in at 96kph… defending.
See if the captain wants to counter attack at 3/40.

Sadly, today my first venture into horse ownership ended with devastating news.
Our 5yo Mare “Breadcrumbs” has been euthanised after a brave fight.
We tried two life-saving surgeries, it was unlikely she’d be back at her best but it wasn’t about that. We wanted her happy.
RIP.
Maddinson puts himself in at 5, when the side is rolling and fully sucks the momentum out of it. He single-handedly lost the game for his team and he’s captain.
He averages 20 in the Big Bash, striking at 120… how is that automatic selection and captaincy material?
