@daniellloyd1@CyclingCanada Great idea. But I also think there should be a restriction on wheels used (disc/deeps) for all U18. It's a barrier to entry, and expensive bit of kit that kids will break.
@inrng@vrdaam So glad the numbers have shown it was economically beneficial, it felt even busier than when the commonwealth games were here.

Dear bikes industry. We need to get a grip of this.
Reputable ebike brands are SAFE! And we need government and fire services to acknowledge that.
Rubbish eBay specials and AliExpress cheapy ones and lots of retrofit stuff is NOT SAFE.
They're not the same things.
As my term as Ambassador for Active Travel with @scotgov comes to an end, I offer this open letter to @patrickharvie in an effort to accelerate Scotlandโs ambition to become a healthier, happier, fairer and more sustainable nation. Full report here https://t.co/Q5890hiqWD

@JoeLavo In theory there's nothing stopping this now though, given most pro race organisations are private companies doing it for money. I imagine city centre kermesses would be relatively more expensive to any other RR given the road closure, facilities etc required. Would be cool tho!
