This Christmas we’ve made a donation to @therescuehotel instead of sending cards. Delighted to support the great work they do finding homes for abandoned dogs.
A few of us popped down to meet the residents, including the gorgeous Pudding pictured here with Sahil!

@buteparkcardiff@cardiffcouncil Hi there. Your board in Bute Park says the park closes at 15.45 this week. I was just refused entry near the Castle by someone from @xmasatbutepark before 15.30? They said nobody could walk through. Why does board say it’s open until 15.45 then?
Something for everyone at @WelshNatOpera’s performance of Il Trittico @theCentre today - drama, emotion, humour & wonderful music. Thoroughly enjoyed it!
Great to see so much support for WNO Chorus industrial action too - Orchestra musicians & performers in T-shirts #SaveOurWNO
Very proud of @lily2maud for showing her support for a ceasefire in Gaza at her @OfficialUoM graduation ceremony yesterday in Manchester - last up in the video ✊🏼
Dozens of students at the University of Manchester used their graduation today to show solidarity with Gaza and protest the University’s complicity in the ongoing genocide 🇵🇸🇵🇸
Chuffed to see my recent talk on the history of our home, Grange Farm, described as ‘a triumph’. Diolch @GLHS1!
The house dates back over 800 years & was originally a monastic grange of Margam Abbey, as well as giving Grangetown its name, so I’m glad I did it justice.
The most fun I’ve had at @CardiffCityFC since we beat Swansea last September - magic! Two goals in stoppage time and a deserved victory. @KRFMoore chose the wrong team in January 💙
Loved @WelshNatOpera’s Death in Venice last night @theCentre👇🏼

Dark but mesmerising - @WelshNatOpera’s performance of Britten’s Death in Venice tonight @theCentre. Mark le Brocq was wonderful as the tormented Aschenbach & the performances by @NoFitState artists were stunning!
Random things that brighten up the day 💐
Someone left these bunches of just passed their sell by date flowers in street at Museum Place today, with a sign saying help yourself. And I did!
No idea who or where they came from, but a lovely gesture. Thanks to the mystery donor!
Sausages made it into the @CardiffCityFC matchday programme tonight - second from left, second row from bottom. Looking very fetching in jester hat & scarf when City got to Wembley many moons ago 💙
Happy memories of horror movie all-nighters at the Scala King’s Cross in early 80s. Freezing cold, unique crowd & films you couldn’t see anywhere else. And cinema cats!
There was nowhere like it - best cinema ever ❤️ https://t.co/6qwraWCcaT
