This is just wild. 2 women were arrested in the UK for holding a sign in Arabic. The cops asked them to translate the sign. They did. The cops couldn’t verify it because they didn’t have a translator, so they arrested them

Arabic is now a crime in the UK

@Suff_highways can something be done to improve the eastbound A14 at c1630- 1800?? It’s a broken road experience since all traffic changed carriageways for the roadworks. One and three quarter hours to get from parallel to Bury Bowl to the A140 junction is madness. Daily hell.

@artcrimeprof Two of my fave veggie experiences; Veg soup in Portugal which had sausage slices hiding in the bottom, and asking for a veggie sandwich in Prague. They first offered Ham and Cheese and when I said I wanted ‘no meat’ the sandwich was whisked away to have its ham removed for me 🤦‍♀️
