@Khurpenchinfra At this point, All complaints are either falling on Deaf Ears or are responded with Standard Replies.
No Strict action is being taken.. No Improvement seems to happen.
Government is showcasing a lot of things on 'Social Media'. In reality, it's exactly opposite.
@RailMinIndia
Offlate, the performance of the Indian railways has become a talking point. More so, after the government has continued to publicise Vande bharat as the premium train , bringing about a revolution in the way people travel through train.
But a quick shot at the recent events paints a different picture:
1. Forum reports and user data suggest trains on the HWH–NGP–CSMT corridor (like Howrah Mail, Gitanjali Express, Duronto) frequently run 2–15 hours late, with some users estimating delays occurring roughly 70–80% of the time historically.
2. The Delhi–Howrah corridor historically is one of India’s busiest and most delay-prone routes. Key trains like the Rajdhani Express (12301/12302) tend to perform better than average, but slower expresses can run anywhere from 1–10+ hours late regularly.
3. While we continue to see reels on vande bharat, it is not possible for common public to bulk download the data on performance of trains. Even Mumbai–Nanded Vande Bharat Express was delayed by about 90 minutes on 24 Feb 2026 due to rake unavailability (train left later than scheduled).
4. Indian Railways does not publicly publish a weekly listing of delayed trains as a standardized dataset.
The official system that tracks running status — NTES — is designed for real-time queries, not bulk weekly reports.
5. There are datasets (e.g., crowd-sourced or research datasets like the Indian Railway Delay Dataset on Kaggle) that contain historical delay data for selected trains from years 2016–2025, but they do not cover every train and are not updated in real time.
So, while infra upgrade in the form of Vande bharat & RRTS are welcome, it should not lead to ignorance of the larger population that doesn’t use these trains.
General coaches being overcrowded is nothing new.
But when even 1st AC starts looking neglected, it’s a complete system failure.
People pay premium fares for basic comfort and hygiene—not excuses.
If top-tier travel can’t meet standards, what exactly are passengers paying for?
Accountability isn’t optional anymore. 🚆
Ernakulam platform is so low and the coach height, creates a huge gap and very risky for a fall of senior citizens in the gap.
Railway platform should be raised to the coach level for passanger safety.

All super fast charges levied on us are a loot going on
Trains continue to run late, railways shamelessly continue to loot inspite of train being 3 hours late.
This is Make in India strategy of Indian railways

Casual replies.
The BM is inaccessible for customer grievances.
Complaint raised on this forum are also not taken seriously and rectified displaying very pathetic working of SBI.
I think I will have to write to chairman only as you will be giving a routine reply

Mira road branch pass book printing machine doesn't function smoothly.
It takes the pass book inside, waits for two minutes and then displays the message bar code not found.
This is a frequent occurrence and the branch staff is very arrogant and gives ...2
Driving on Indian roads is very easy; you just have to be careful of:
1. Dogs.
2. Cattle.
3. Children.
4. Potholes.
5. Open ditches, sewer lines, manholes.
6. Non-standard speed breakers.
7. Wrong-side drivers.
8. Pedestrians crossing abruptly.
9. Someone suddenly emerging from a divider cut.
10. Drivers abruptly changing lanes.
11. Turning without indicators.
12. Thar, Scorpio, Fortuner, buses, trucks, tractors, irrespective of their driving methods.
13. E-rickshaws and auto-rickshaws stopping/turning anywhere, anytime.
14. Vehicles overtaking from the left.
15. Parked vehicles opening doors without warning.
16. Loose gravel dumped without warning.
17. Temporary barricades placed suddenly in the middle of the road.
18. Uneven resurfacing.
19. VIP vehicles honking behind.
20. Unmarked unfinished flyovers.
That's it.
- Bro stepped up in the train
- Lit a cigarette
- Got confronted by another passenger
- Refused to stop
These videos convince me our lack of Civic Sense will continue forever 😭
A police officer boards an AC coach without a ticket and occupies a seat that’s legally allotted to a passenger.
When the rightful passenger arrives and asks him to vacate, the officer arrogantly refuses and says, “Go sit on some other seat.”
The passenger calls the TTE. The TTE clearly asks the officer to move or show a ticket.
The response? Absolute entitlement.
The officer openly declares, “We don’t take tickets. We’re in government service. We travel for free.”
Even when the TTE warns that the RPF will be called, the officer refuses to budge and repeats, “I have a government job.”
This isn’t authority.
This is abuse of power.
When those meant to enforce the law start breaking it in public, law and order turn into a joke.
Uniforms are for responsibility not for intimidation.
If this goes unchecked today, tomorrow no honest passenger will feel safe or respected.
