Post Yom Kippur message:

We need to stand together as frum Jews and all our not yet frum brethren who respect the Torah should be respected.

However we cannot have true unity with most of the non observant, this tweet proves it. I posted something about a famous CEO with a Jewish father, that he’s not Jewish. Dozens of accounts started attacking me.

Most people on frum X have no idea how many secular Jews truly believe that people with a Jewish father are fully Jewish if they choose to identify as such.

Not only is this blatantly against Halacha, it is also straight out kefirah.

We pasken that a Jew is someone who’s born to a Jewish mother or who converts according to Halacha (nowadays known as an orthodox conversion). That’s it.

This shouldn’t be a controversial opinion. It’s one of the basic tenants of our religion. If someone argues with you about this, do not waste your time on them. It’s not a two-sided argument. It’s a clear one, where one side is 100% wrong and the other is 100% right.
