#Vancouver tonight. Drone returning back to #VPDHQ after searching for a missing child captured this stunning view. Child was returned to his family safe and sound. Spectacular city...by the way #WeAreHiring

Believe it or not, running into burning buildings is not the most dangerous part of a being a firefighter 🏚️🔥

Pleased to see the announcement this week that #firefighters now have increased presumptive cancer coverage 👍🏼

Where do Fire Investigators receive their specialized training? This week, it will be in Chilliwack at the BCIAAI investigation course. Looking forward to a great week of honing investigation skills. Special thanks to Abbotsford Fire for providing training space for our burns.

Had lots of fun @VancouverPD Family Day, great to interact with our partners and see some friends with their families!

[Howard Chow @DeputyChow]

Never easy trying to deal with an emotionally charged & chaotic scene. There to support COV/Fire Chief’s Order & called in when violence erupted; had officers bit, punched in the face & coffee thrown at them. Rather have officers dealing with priority calls elsewhere #factsmatter

[Vancouver Fire Rescue Services @VanFireRescue]

Monday night a fire in an SRO unit caused by a modified lithium ion battery charger damaged multiple units from smoke and water damage. Last night another SRO fire from the same cause. Sprinklers and efforts from our crews saved these buildings from extensive damage.
