As a Hindu Brahmin woman, I strongly object to what #SwaraBhaskar has said about Hindu Rajput women—and especially about rape victims.
You asked: “Does the female foetus not deserve to be born because she might be raped by a ‘Muslim’ ruler?”
First, get your history right. He was never the ruler of India. He was a rogue regional ruler who seized power by killing his uncle and father-in-law.
Second, yes, i would rather sacrifice my daughter than make her a victim of barbaric abuse.
You’re married into a Muslim family—you should know the history before invoking it to make your point.
And please don’t presume to tell rape victims whether death or rape is worse. That choice is not yours to make.
Now this is degrading for all Hindu women.

@_nikki_tweets Are you dumb? Marriage is personal… Education is social. Aur konsi inequality bhai? I have never seen anyone asking about anyone’s caste upfront. Been to colleges, schools, jobs never seen anyone asking caste of any other person
General Category attending tomorrow's student protests- use these banners.
Reservation is one of the biggest issues affecting your future. Raise your voice.
Talk to the media. Share photos & videos on social media. Tag me- I will amplify them.
This is your moment. Use it.
While it’s important to support our students and ask for educational reforms that positively impact the future of our youth, it’s also very important that peaceful protests by students are Not hijacked by anti national elements to create chaos & change the nature of the protest.
Seeing so much hate & divide online makes me wonder if bad elements in & outside our country have already started to work overtime to weaponise the anger & frustration felt by our students.
I have always believed in hard work, equality and excellence & that should never be compromised. I also believe in our democracy, law and order & our government, therefore I sincerely hope that both sides enter into meaningful & constructive dialogue & weed out any nefarious elements & agendas out of this protest & conversation , so the future is bright for our youth and for our democracy ! 🇮🇳 Jai Hind !
15,000 student commit suicide because of reservations,
every year!
But I truly believe this is not important enough to be address at this protest.
Okay!

@sathyashrii Yes. Things need to change, people need to be heard and this is the only gov that can do this. They rolled back UGC by just listening to people online. They will do it again. Things take time.
While cockroaches are making reels,
Delhi Police saved a life of a protestor who lost consciousness during the protest.
However, international media won’t cover this.
@NewsAlgebraIND Honestly i think whatever the case is there should be at least some dialogues between them. Final decision after the dialogue remains with the government but having dialogues with Sonam wangchuk will show current gov in a good light that they are at least listening to the people
I killed 16 Hindus to protect Babri Masjid
Mulayam Singh Yadav said this with immense proud in parliament and entire ecosystem praised him
This was value of life of Hindus in India
This was the India before 2014
There's a saying: "A dog biting a person isn't news, but a person biting a dog is." That's what it feels like now. Violence against women has become so common that it no longer gets the attention or urgency it deserves. It's genuinely heartbreaking.
