On 13th November 2025, Dublin City Council will mark World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims and Their Families—a day officially commemorated on the third Sunday in November. This day is a time to honour those who have lost their lives or been injured on our roads, and to stand with the families, friends, and communities who carry their memory every day. As we reflect, we also look forward—with renewed determination to make our streets safer, more compassionate, and more mindful of every life.
Let us remember. Let us act. Let us protect.
Let’s pledge to make our roads safer. #WorldRemembranceDay #DublinCityCouncil #RoadSafety #VisionZero
On the 24th anniversary of 9/11, we remember all those that passed away that day including the first responders of New York City.
Nearer my God to thee performed in memoriam by Retired Station Officer Brian Hughes and F/F Ger Bolger.
