❗@Vanguard_Group just pulled out of the Net Zero Asset Managers initiative in a move that essentially aligns the firm with climate deniers.

Enough is enough. Vanguard needs to find new business models or new customers. #WTFVanguard https://t.co/5skuLwpSoz

@theRealKiyosaki What an ignorant statement. Makes me question everything I read in your book. You think any criticism must originate from a "woke loser"? Elon will find very quickly that he needs engineers and ass-kissing isn't a job requirement.

[Fireproof Socks @fireproofsocks]

Elon was worried about how many bot accounts were on Twitter... and then he held an "election" easily manipulated by them to justify re-instating an #AmericanLoser and #RussianTool. Is Elon also in the pay of the Russians as they export their misinformation and kleptocracy?

[Semaphore @semaphoreci]

When it comes to software, there is no such thing as a "perfect solution."

The most recent post by @fireproofsocks explains why a small team of Elixir engineers can outperform a much larger one.

@devmarcoux asdf for Elixir (and Node, and Python, and most other things); Docker for PostGreSQL, Mongo, etc.

@josevalim I definitely prefer the clarity of explicit fn. & has more mental friction because it can denote a captured function OR an argument.

I put together some thoughts about #programming and #deprogramming and somehow a diatribe about #democracy in peril framed by a trip to the ER for a heartbeat gone wild.

I have released a ew version of Pockets for easily working with ETS and DETS tables in Elixir: https://t.co/Ra6QiOV9lA
It includes filter/2 and reject/2 functions for editing tables in place.

DNS has been down for the Guidebox API @ https://t.co/zBRW8et60O for almost a week (!!!), so I suspect it's a legal issue and not a technical one. I see no status update anywhere, they have not responded to emails from paying customers. I ask the Twitterverse. #guidebox #wtf

@BoldProgressive @RepRaskin Keep it up. ✊ Can we stop using the misleading label of "Stop the Steal" and instead refer to this as the "Stop the Selection" coup attempt? BRING THEM TO JUSTICE.

- Next available appt.: 4 months from now.
- Step into time machine so that intake forms can be FAXED to the office.

@BrooklinJMyers This is a great question. Sometimes I think devs don't fully appreciate what Elixir has to offer until they've been around the block a few times. The way you think when programming Erlang/Elixir is different than when you're doing OO coding. It's a foundational shift.
