@anon_opin@rorysutherland I asked a TV sound engineer friend this exact question- apparently modern actors convey emotion by dropping into breathy whispers, in contrast to your older generation of actors who are used to projecting across a stage. He absolutely hates it, and makes his job almost impossible
@RMSOBigfoot My fave footage- worth checking out the whole expedition video. The width of shoulders, the length & fluidity of their arm swing when they stand, the gorilla-like profile shot of their head. And they film the moment the guys review their footage, & realize what they’ve recorded..
The algorithms really are making it impossible to promote anything that’s made by an actual human being.
Anyway, I’ve made a new thing, last time I checked I was still vaguely human, and I’d love it if you ordered a copy or shared this post.

Many of you may not know that Wales has its own TV broadcaster @S4C
In addition to Welsh language programming, they have also produced some incredible, award-winning animation. I think if about a billion of you retweet this, they’d just *have* to make a Dragons of Wales series…
Opinion: GLAN's @gerry_liston on the @Y4CJ_
case in @IrishTimes today: '...with the climate crisis intensifying so alarmingly, the exceptionally hostile approach of the Irish Government to climate cases before the ECtHR should concern us all.' https://t.co/foMr16pPGh
