I love finding great books to add to our library. Ara the Star Engineer is a gem! It's cute, fun, and educational. It also gives girls real-life engineers to look up to!

@OutnumberedB I hope your kiddo feels better soon! You could let them play in the bath, listen to an audiobook, color, read a book, make a comic together, and look at photos from when they were little. 😊

I've been searching for toys I can give my one year old that he won't outgrow in the near future. I came up with this list of 13 quality toys that a one year old will love now and for years to come! Check it out!

We've been exploring our home state lately, and I compiled a list of the best family activities near Salt Lake City!
Have you ever visited any of them?

@BalanceMoments Those ideas sounds really fun! I bet they were so excited to have breakfast for dinner!
When I was growing up, we had a tradition of letting the birthday kid pick the meal too! We looked forward to it.
Thanks for the ideas 😊
Whenever possible, turn a "No" into a "Yes!"
It's a lot nicer to hear, "You can play with your friends when your homework is done," than, "No, you can't play with your friends, your homework isn't done."

#ThanksgivingPoint is so much fun! The baby had his first pony ride and played in a water table, I made a stop-motion movie, and we all loved trying things at the exhibits. #utah#visitutah
When we feel better, we do better. We should be helping kids to see that they are a good person no matter what! Sometimes good people make poor choices and have to deal with the consequences, but they are still good people.
Making kids feel bad for poor choices made will not help them replace undesirable behaviors.
Discipline through teaching of self regulation, reflection, empathy, and behavior interventions through trusting relationships will.
It won’t happen overnight. Be patient.
Struggling with a disobedient child? Try giving them some control over their life. If they need to eat a vegetable, try give choices like these
Carrot or broccoli?
On a plate or in a bowl?
Fork or spoon?
You might be surprised by the difference in attitude!
