@TourismGoa zoom car is running an illegal operation of hiring private cars for self drive rentals. I as a customer who that have tried giving a shot number plate car for self drive. I being a law abiding citizen refused to take the car and fighting with zoom car for my refund.

When I arrived on 29th. Jan 2.30 pm at Manohar international Airport Goa to collect the car, to my surprise a car with white number plate GAO6F 4813 arrived for me. As you are aware self drive cars have to have Black plate with yellow numbers so I have refused to accept the said illegal vehicle and contacted your customer care asking them to cancel my booking as I was not willing to drive a rental car with white number plate (private). The customer care executive has refused to cancel my booking saying customers drive such cars. I have asked him repeatedly if this was legally correct but he refused to answer this question and kept repeating “customers are driving such cars and we cannot cancel”.

I am attaching above a copy of the law Incase you guys are not aware (but I know you are aware). I am requesting you to cancel my booking and refund the money ASAP! FAILING WHICH I WILL NOT HESITATE TO SUE YOU FOR DAMAGES AMD MENTAL HARASSMENT TO ME AND MY FAMILY.
I will also report you to the GOA government and central road transport ministry besides exposing your harassment and illegal self drive rental activities on social media.

Please treat this as a final correspondence from my side. I will wait seven days for my refund into my original source of payment or seek legal recourse that may be available to me.

@OlaElectric sorry I am back again. After a battery change my scooter again refuses to start. Called helpline - RSA yesterday morning now 24 hours later still no RSA…. I give up!

@OlaElectric phew! Got my scooter back from service after 15days ola claiming they have replaced the battery. vehicle was ridden back by some third party delivery agency and battery was low so could not test ☹️

@bhash @bhash sincere request stop everything and re-organise your after sales. It is a joke! I still receive multiple calls for charger installation a month after it is installed. RSA messages four days later saying they are on the way. 😀 you are an inspiration don’t become a target.
