Please read the conversation that I had with a 32 year old man whose younger brother wants to engage his ex, and is being supported by his religious parents.
Just the way we see some educated and enlightened persons act foolish or deliberately ignorant when it comes to religion.
Same way we are seeing some educated and enlightened persons supporting the APC government.
Despite the obvious failures, they're intentionally blind.
End.
@Ijlasky5050@EkeneAninze@ruffydfire He did not. He only copied his post word for word and forgot to remove his name at the end. Content thieves that lack any sort of honour in them.
Please read.
I am wondering where in Nigeria that it's seen as an abomination for a younger brother to marry before the elder brother.
From your story, the elder brother is either not responsible or he doesn't have money.
However, I agree that he should go and inform him that he wants to marry a wife.
I also see a much bigger issue that may arise in the future, due to how their kindred are openly showing lack of regards for the elder brother.
Except there is something your man isn't telling you. If their late father left specific instructions before he died, we can't say.
He should go ahead to inform his brother, but ask him to be careful. He may also choose not to pass the night in his house and lie to him that he has something to do in another state.
I don't like your story.
And I hope your man and his brother will not become silent enemies in the future.
End.
