Jeff Flake retired in ’17 trailing Kelli Ward by double digits. Sinema left the Dem Party in ‘22 because she’d lose a primary, then bowed out in ’24.
Bill Cassidy is the first senator to lose his primary since 2017 when Luther Strange lost to Roy Moore. Strange was appointed
Dick Lugar was the last elected senator to lose his primary, in 2012
2 more senators are in danger of losing primaries this cycle: John Cornyn and Ed Markey
BIG NEWS: The United States of America now owns 10% of Intel, one of our great American technology companies.
This historic agreement strengthens U.S. leadership in semiconductors, which will both grow our economy and help secure America’s technological edge.
Thanks to Intel CEO @LipBuTan1 for striking a deal that’s fair to Intel and fair to the American People.
We unfortunately had this exact same situation happen to us. We essentially negotiated them down but still ended up paying ~$8K more than the original quote. What helped us negotiate was the cost of the driver, as the company usually has to continue to pay them to be with the stuff until the stuff gets dropped off, esp. long haul moves.
