@rmfalla Suzuki didn’t WANT to be mgr. He didn’t “apply.” Once Arte & Perry figured out that nobody wanted a 1-yr placeholder deal.. they asked Arte’s “Asst” to assume the role. Suzuki, more than anybody, knows he’s not prepared for this.

@davet79 @MikeDiGiovanna @LockedOnAngels Player payroll is only one component of expenditures. It’s visible to fans, so that’s what they measure. But Arte doesn’t spend on scouting, data, planning, conditioning, infrastructure..etc. (or pest control, apparently).

this is the MOST pessimistic I’ve been for the team. Terrible…. The fundamental infrastructure: scouting, development, game-planning; have been dismantled. Their road back to winning is a long one.
