@gruntpa That's how the CG handles it's personnel from units like MSST and MSRT (teams that do fancy LE and anti terrorism stuff). After that tour they go back to regular LE units and are expected to help train those personnel to be better by sharing knowledge and experience.

@simonsarris Your example of condos is not what OP said. They want a space with their current friends and family. Not with some random strangers that happen to buy the condo next door. I certainly would like the original idea, similar things are common in Hawaii where prices are high.

@EODHappyCaptain If you have the goal of attaining the next rank, you need to be acting/working like that rank now. Don't wait until you attain it. Very important in the CG as advancement is in no way guaranteed and needs to be actively pursued.
