Has the Prime Minister received any legal advice over the definition of genocide?
A letter from the Independent Alliance, following Keir Starmer's refusal to recognise the genocide in Gaza.
@UniteEconomy@theSNP My advice to people would be to find another union that does support people in Scotland and the Scottish Government.
Here’s @UniteEconomy expecting ScotGov to mitigate Labour policy…meanwhile Labour has cut Scotland’s budget.
@Adi13@FranceskAlbs I’d like you to comment on the atrocities that happened before October 7th…which most of the world was unaware of…and the atrocities since…which we are all now aware of. The atrocities which include breaking international humanitarian law. There is no war. This is genocide.
If Keir Starmer had said before the election that he would remove the winter fuel allowance from millions of pensioners, add inheritance to family farms, council tax & energy price increases, raise university tuition fees, plaster mass-scale solar panels on thousands of acres of prime farmland despite huge local community objections, spaff £22bn of taxpayers’ money on carbon capture machines, give £3bn a year of taxpayers’ money to Ukraine, pledge a 20% cut in meat & dairy and get exposed for receiving over £100,000 worth of freebies - he almost certainly wouldn’t have won. He duped the electorate. An utterly shameless display of snake oil political salesmanship. And still he lectures all of us in that gratingly sanctimonious manner of his like we are all somehow the problem here.
Keir Starmer and David Lammy are engaging in genocide denialism by refusing to recognise the genocide in Gaza, and genocide revisionism by undermining its legal definition.
Great to talk with @BrawnJourno and be featured on the front page of @ScotNational to discuss this.
NHS England deliberately lying about longer A&E waits to conceal massive crisis, FIVE times greater, and prevent comparison with Scotland, missed by Sky News https://t.co/r8UmOgCAMn
Some people seem to think Charles has earned these medals and ranks because he spent a brief spell in the armed forces fifty years ago. So let's look at what he's wearing and why it's completely inappropriate or dishonest. 🧵
Your occasional reminder that the 26 CofE Bishops in the House of Lords make the UK one of just two countries in the world, where unelected clerics automatically sit in the legislature.
The other is Iran.
Good to see Glaswegians explain why it's time for Scotland to be a normal, sovereign and independent country. But to make it a reality, sitting back and hoping it'll just happen is for the birds. It needs an Independence campaign with a date or support will drain away @theSNP
@RoryStewartUK I can’t think of one reason why @RoryStewartUK would tweet this in support of the Archbishop of Canterbury today.
It beggars belief that in the circumstances he mentions humility, openness, care and sense of public service.
Disgraceful.
