In our new paper led by @FisheriesRobert we provide a summary for how to apply telemetry to study fish. A big joint achievement of many in the field that started at the @FishTelGroup. With many co-authors such as @josep_alos @SJC_fishy @DrBrodin and more https://t.co/bpuMVBgiCL
Inspiring discussions on linking ecological and evolutionary theory to movement ecology, which even produced the outline of a manuscript. Now we have to get to work. This will be exciting!
Special guest @DingemanseLab at @FishTelGroup workshop presenting important framework linking behaviour and life history. Nice to have the animal "personality" guru joining us.
Lake telemetry project started. First @ran_nathan celebrating our Science paper that emerged from last workshops prior to Corona. Thanks @ran_nathan for herding and leading. @FishTelGroup
The Lake Fish Telemetry Group is now in its fifth year! This #MSR project is an international, multidisciplinary collaboration pushing forward understanding of fish ecology and behaviour.
The third @FishTelGroup workshop will be held this month in České Budějovice.
Excited for our review (led by @ran_nathan) to be published today in @ScienceMagazine covering the amazing research occurring with high-resolution tracking.
So many things are possible now.
E.g. Understanding shorebirds' movement with the tide
