Below the surface, arguments breathe easier.
Some arrive breathless.
Others arrive prepared.
At depth, thought carries weight;
Shouting just makes bubbles...
@shellshockkk Hogwash!
In that substantial and lengthy cirriculum vitae, you failed to humbly mention if you could make a sammich...
And THAT is why you are 100% unemployable.
@BussinWTB@FanDuel@budlight Miles is current positional top of the market. You flat out dont get him...the trade is not made... without the complete tendered package. You want the current best, then you pay the steep price. Like it or not, that's how it works.
As America celebrates its 250th birthday, I thank God every day for the captains of industry who, despite enduring endless criticism and cynicism, wake up each morning determined to imagine, innovate, persevere, and pursue the American Dream.
Most will fail. But those who succeed don't just enrich themselves, they create opportunities, build industries, provide livelihoods, and help lift countless others along the way. The rewards they earn are often the harvest of the risks they were willing to take and the seeds they had the courage to sow.
Happy 250th, America. ๐บ๐ธ

Shut off the camera (nobody wants to see this, nor should this be how you choose the world to see you).
Take a beat.
Schedule a PRIVATE meeting with your supervisor and communicate like an adult.
(Should I ever come into your Starbucks, I expect a discounted Carmel Mach for this advice)
She was so thoroughly embarrassed during her trip to Europe that ever since, sheโs been working overtime posting clips of herself using big words while projecting her own lack of intelligence onto others who actually ARE smart.
Itโs the political version of trying to talk louder when you realize you donโt actually know what youโre talking about.

That may be the most creative rebranding of a nuclear weapons test ever attempted.
Itโs right up there with calling a flamethrower a landscaping tool.
A strange modern habit has emerged.
People now believe their personal preferences are moral achievements.
The music they like;
The food they eat;
The politics they signal.
None of these things make someone a better human being.
Yet announcing them loudly online has somehow become a substitute for character...
People used to keep parts of their lives private because they understood something simple: Not every emotional moment is meant for an audience.
When every disagreement, breakup, and insecurity gets posted for strangers to judge, the relationship quietly stops being between two people and it becomes a performance.
And once an audience shows up, attention replaces honesty as the main objective.
Every political argument eventually reaches the same point:
Someone decides the other side isnโt just wrongโฆ
Theyโre not allowed to exist.
Thatโs usually when the smartest people quietly leave the conversation.
That life choice alone isnโt a reason to dismiss someone at face value. Maybe theyโll prove effective and successful, and if so, good.
But if this turns into another appointment built around identity, theatrics, and social media performance instead of competence and results, it wonโt take long before the whole thing starts looking like political theater rather than serious governance.
