Authorities in Wyoming are searching for a 27-year-old hiker who vanished in Grand Teton National Park last week. Dozens of search and rescue personnel have been looking for Cian McLaughlin, the nephew of CVUSD Superintendent Mark McLaughlin.

Sadly, yes. These brave students spoke up and finished their public comments even as grown adults heckled them. I’m grateful to CVUSD staff for ensuring that they exited safely and did not have to walk back through the mob trying to intimidate. Kudos to these students.

Addie Craig thanked the students who came in to speak at the meeting. She said their voices are important. She said all students and staff who are members of the LGBTQ community are welcome in CVUSD.
