@HLTCO 💯 agree
And sky sports news could and should also be that option.
But like football focus, they have lost their focus on core football/sport debate @news.
Talk about the game, the real issues that fans are interested in.
Less of the amateur banter & general meaningless topics
Keir Starmer: “there is no such thing as two-tier policing”.
Police chiefs today: “we will review controversial guidance advising officers to treat ethnic minorities differently”.
The absurdity of modern Britain.
I love the angle taken by @kenearlys on the Champions League final.
He’s absolutely right to dedicate so much time to how Arsenal waste time 🗑️
The drinking water and human life lines 🤣
Dear @HantsPolice, I have a quiz for you:
Of the two, which one is more important to investigate first?
1: “he’s a racist”
2: “I have been stabbed”
Take all the time you need….
Sorry isn’t good enough.
We need to see the body-worn footage and these officers need to face consequences.
The treatment of this murdered student, in his dying moments, is a national scandal.
@ManCity Much love from the West Ham family
He changed our game, across the country, and did it with great style and respect.
I can only imagine, what the last few years have been like with all the success
What I like about city, is even when you were in div 2 you still had huge crowds
Pep actually shed tears watching that farewell message. One of the most proper heartfelt ones I've seen. I'm in bits too, man. It's not easy accepting he's not our gaffer anymore. Proper hard, this.
@AshleyDalton_MP I’ll just leave these 2 facts here.
If you think this is 82% down, this is perhaps why Labour have no idea what they’re doing at all.
🤡
@DaleJohnsonBBC The @Carabao_Cup was completely devalued the minute they decided to seed the sides in Europe
They already enter in round 3, then they get the guarantee of not playing any of the other 8 teams playing in europe.
If they did so they had to play away, then perhaps ok, but they don’t
This case strikes me as extraordinary, both for the police behaviour and judge's apparent direction to the jury.
Carrying an 8" knife is illegal with very limited exceptions which do not include "self defence". The Criminal Justice Act makes that plain, and the Sentencing Council says in terms "carrying a knife or other weapon for protection is not a lawful reason. "
The Attorney General should be reviewing both this case and the case of the two teenage rapists ASAP.
I don't know what is happening with our justice system at the moment, and I am not alone in that concern.

“World-class team in a world-class stadium?” Second-tier team in a track-and-field stadium. West Ham United relegated to the Championship at the London Stadium. Fans have every right to be angry. They turned up. But where was the real leadership in the club? Or on the pitch in recent times (Bowen apart)? No urgency in the first half against Leeds. Taty and Bowen gave brief hope. But they couldn’t rise to the equation. Spurs survive.
Many reasons for West Ham’s demise: some iffy recruitment, some below-par coach appointments (Lopetegui, Potter), defensive issues, lack of direction from board, tensions between fans and Sullivan, as well as an unsuitable stadium (fans far from pitch, rental so difficult to generate money). Record losses. And revenue will be hammered by the drop.
Who gets sold? Fernandes and Summerville will be top of many clubs’ shopping list. And the loyal Bowen? Does Nuno stay? Will the fanbase want him to? Does Kretinsky make a move to take over? Would Sullivan sell anyway? So many questions. Who can provide the answers? Who will stand up to be counted?
West Ham need a reset, a rethink, improved recruitment and better leadership - on and off the pitch. Their fans deserve better. #WHULEE #WHU
I have been sickened all day by the news of three boys who lured two schoolgirls, raped them, and filmed it on their phones while they laughed and egged each other on. When they finally stood before a judge this week, they were handed “rehabilitation orders” and walked out without serving a single day behind bars. Not in prison, not in custody or a young offender institution.
The judge said, “None of you need to go to prison”.
What message does that send to rapists? The crime could hardly be graver, yet the punishment was no punishment at all. It’s the collapse of consequences and the rot runs right through the justice system.
And this is only going to get worse because Labour are choosing to go soft on criminals:
❌ They have abolished short prison sentences.
❌ They have let tens of thousands of criminals out early.
❌ And now they want to raise the age of criminal responsibility, so that even MORE young offenders escape any consequence at all.
My position is common sense👇
PRISON WORKS.
✅It punishes those who do wrong, it keeps dangerous people off our streets and away from our children.
✅It tells every victim that the law is on their side.
A country that forgets this is a country where schoolgirls are raped and filmed for sport, and the boys who did it get to go home.
Conservatives stand against it and our policies on sentencing and prison are the ones that will deliver a stronger country.

Three teenagers escaped prison after gang-raping two schoolgirls.
The country is shocked and disgusted.
But it is explicit government policy to send fewer criminals under eighteen to prison.
I’ve written to David Lammy demanding he changes course.
