@RorySchweinfur1@eatinerni@Amazingeye6 They may have been called "Stick dog" near the U.S. military bases years ago. But, the most common name for them in Japan has always been "American dog".
@Wilted_Brainz@itsme_urstruly Sounds like a lovely view!
I have a question about rural American life. What do people, especially young people too young to drive, do in their freetime?
@NewFireCity@sakebu_cheese_ In Japan, it is a symbol of Japan's strength and tradition. It has no connection to WW2. That war was 80 years ago... Japan's history (and that flag) are much, much older.
It's nothing like the U.S. Confederate flag or the German N@zi flag,
@AbelTaiye1@janelsooo If Americans should "broaden their horizon" and watch "European football", do Europeans broaden theirs and watch "American football" ?
To me, the goofiest-looking thing is that part (I don't know what it's called) where four or so players stand side-by-side and jump together.
@antilemonhelm@JVMonte2 I've never seen Cheap Trick.
But I've seen a number of acts. Most notably, KISS a couple times. (I've seen KISS at a lot of different venues!)
@AlfredMaidlow@Avabelly__ You "listened" to baseball games??
To me, watching baseball is so boring... I can't imagine listening to it on a radio! Definitely a cure for insomnia!
