@KensingtonRoyal How narcissistic are the royals that they rather see kids get overheated and collapse then just cancel/postpone till weather more conducive #banmonarchy
This April 14-15, @Varian will be hosting an Interventional Radiology Resident Education Program live in-person in Chicago. Program focuses on what every trainee should know! Look forward to seeing all! Register at https://t.co/os4WkgcN6w
@DrGMcGinty Match algorithms can be weird despite best intentions. That said, 40-50% women in PGYI-V (higher than national average) and overall ethnically varied grp, makes for a wonderful, diverse class. Looking forward to working with all, men and women.
@Mariagonzalesxp@StanfordRadPD You may want to look at the trainee face page for PGY1-PGYV before spewing hate. Or maybe ask their female professors and leaders. Sometimes doing your homework helps all (Spoiler alert - it is a great dept. Sometimes algorithms get screwy).
@traumamaximoff @StanfordRadPD Actually, we are proud of the men. Not cool to steal their moment. And for those curious: % women in Stanford Rad : IR trainees -50%; PGYIV: 31%; PGYIII: 46%; PGYII: 46% PGY1: 39%. And ethnically diverse. @StanfordRadPD@Stanford_IR
@StanfordRadPD % women in Stanford Rad : IR trainees -50%; PGYIV: 31%; PGYIII: 46%; PGYII: 46% PGY1: 39%. And ethnically diverse. FYI for the curious. And a warm welcome to the guys who matched this year - look forward to working with you! @StanfordRadPD@Stanford_IR@StanfordRad
@AnaVManana Have a look at past stanford rad classes and look at the IR crew before passing judgement. I will always call out my place of work if issue, but sometimes it is the luck of the draw. Hold your judgment - this is not a pattern.

“Memento morí”. I rarely subscribe to blogs - but bloom’s blogs are often thought provoking and completely worth it (plus they are short, have graphs and simple yet effective) @SahilBloom
Last year, I had a conversation that changed my life.
It caused me to upend everything and move across the country.
The lesson from it may change yours:
Written PDAs-Great job Shan +Eric +our IRethics team! Glad about the increasing traction and willingness of some journals to publish an under discussed topic @AJR_Radiology @IR_Ethics @SIRspecialists https://t.co/eHjBU8JCdS
@ChrisMurrell15 @WFKARS Could be teaching drama. Or in a play. Or it’s Halloween. Or celebrating a birthday. Context is critical. And a good teacher is not defined by their outfit. We have some of our best math teachers wear PJ bottoms occasionally and no one is sleeping.
@linemonkeymd Agree. What’s also discomforting is that recently, IR Twitter is comfortable trolling its own. Published article, 3+reviewers (with 6 pages of comments) thought it was worth its while. Suggest nay sayers get comfortable with academic freedom? @SIRspecialists
Women are sometimes more judgy about other women than men are and it’s sad. Don’t understand why personal decisions are subject to an autopsy. I kept my maiden name because I’m too damn lazy to do paperwork. But you do you and I do me. It’s always that simple!
It’s sad when women attack the decisions of other women in the name of feminism.
I took @SeanM_Wu’s name after marriage and I have never regretted it.
It’s. My. Choice.
