3d artist going against everything he believes succumbing to a Twitter account. You win Twitter, but I'll still never hashtag...#RetainingSomeDignity...
@eyedesyn This should've been one of the first AI integrated efforts in the 3d industry. It doesn't necessarily replace an artist and helps with a very painstaking step. UVs would be my next vote.
@DavidAriew Interactive car controls for Lucid Gravity. Did art direction, scene building, multiple environments, animations, lighting, rendering, rigging, etc. down there on the lower screen. He's a spokesperson for Lucid as of last year.
@DavidAriew Creation of assets are doable via code already, I wonder if it would be hard to automate. I finished my c4d copilot, but it has API dependencies so harder to ship up others. This would be good exploration
@DavidAriew I'm actually surprised it doesn't default based on the port it's plugged into, same with redshift. I'd rather have to change an edge-case back to color data than have to change it every time to the typical behavoir I'd want. I'll mention to Dino, but it has to have been discussed
@RocketLasso Nice! I really wish sketch and toon would get an overhaul. I loved it so much and it has so many use-cases. I'll give this a whirl. Nice work, Chris! Miss seeing you at conferences
@The3DNinja I've been using AI extensively with my 3d workflow, including for things like building textures and patterns. It's not so hot as doing seamless, but at least there's Sampler
@jacquesBroquard@eyedesyn@MaxonVFX And the latter of your statement is most cases. Clients and companies are focused on the results, and being efficient in the journey to get there. Even myself, as a generalist, welcome new AI technologies into the fold of my pipeline. Granted, I would rather retopo and UV AI 1st.
@The3DNinja There's a ControlNet node that you can set to depth and that helps guide it better if you're using a reference image for image2image genAI. I'm usually using it as a helper, not outputting the depth map for use in post, although that would be a good use.
@The3DNinja If you enjoy doing video, grab the DJI Osmo 3 Pocket. I absolutely love that thing for filming, with its gimbal and face/subject tracking, paired with the mic.
@The3DNinja Rizom is easily the best unwrapping software I've experienced. The DCC bridge makes back and forth to your 3d app a breeze, and you can be confidently using the software, with intuitive shortcuts, in 20 minutes. Plus, it's fairly cathartic to unwrap in that app β€οΈ
@PressSec Speaking as a wartime deployed veteran, I'm using my first ever tweet to tell you how embarrassed I am by your, and your administration's, blatant display of immorality, deception, and manipulation towards, and of, our country, and democracy. #Ididntfightforthis
@pere43698233@HKrassenstein@realDonaldTrump@ChanelRion@OANN Yep, the votes on the screen are input by a person onsite updating information as it comes in, not vote counting polling places. I believe in the digital age we call it a "typo"?
