Five Torches Deep: Highfane Peaks PDF and print-on-demand are now available to the public. We're really thrilled with how the book turned out, and hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

@CBoudreau13 Unfortunately we’ve shelved FPD for now. Production on most FTD related products have decelerated, but not completely stopped. At some point we will revisit more mechanical supplements.
Shout out to @SlyFlourish and @fivetorchesdeep , for providing me with the tools for my never ending homebrew prep!
At some point in time, I’m going to have to just pull the trigger and set this project in motion!
Love both of these products so much!

Time is about up for this two-for-one OSR deal from Sigil Stone and the Bundle of Holding; Five Torches Deep + Vagabonds of Dyfed https://t.co/QxmNLAMoos
Sigil Stone OSR - fantasy #TTRPGs from Sigil Stone Publishing (@fivetorchesdeep) that combine Old School ideals w/ 5th Edition and Apocalypse Engine mechanics - through Mon 24 Jan: https://t.co/KvG07RRt5n
@vexlight4269 Not to our knowledge! We sometimes get talked about on various rpg discords (like the big purple OSR one). There is an unofficial but blessed subreddit that has some decent activity.
@KlausVonH All spells require components equal to 2 SUP per spell level per cast (except cantrips). Carrying SUP has load but components aren’t necessarily a separate load than the SUP you carry.
Most players focus on getting lots of scrolls instead so they can spam spells.
@KlausVonH Would be curious to know what is confusing, we always want to improve. You need more supply to provide components for higher level spells (2 per spell level per cast). If you have a focus you ignore components. That’s it.
@KlausVonH It’s to create an implied setting, which is easily changeable. Our supplement Origins speaks a lot about this, but the goal was to emulate the implied setting of BX in 5e ish frameworks.
@GeekOutWithDad You can cast spells that you otherwise don’t know. You also have no limit to the number of times you can cast, even after a mishap.
The somewhat random nature of mishaps discourages fighting. It’s safer to do a rite or to sneak by than to fight and melt your party’s armor.
A lot of people feel like spell mishaps in FTD are too frequent, too punishing, too “unfun.” That’s totally fine! In fact we want you to feel empowered to hack the game to your liking.
That being said, it’s designed to be that way. On purpose. We’ll explain some of our thoughts
I just purchased two print-on-demand books from @DriveThruRPG by @CrossheadDM and @fivetorchesdeep. Love supporting fellow third party #dnd and #ttrpg creators. Considering joining me in buying third party content during the holiday season. #ttrpgfamily#ttrpgsolidarity
@TheChaosmeister Nothing official. We’re fine with people making stuff that’s compatible and using our name in their products. Unfortunately we don’t have bandwidth to manage other products or licenses.
