@ryancrawcour@KiwiCraig74 She isn’t a religious zealot and hasn’t been telling women they can’t decide for themselves what they can and can’t do with their bodies. She has campaigned hard and will be great for Tāmaki. O’Connor has been an absolute dead loss for a very long time
If I can find something positive it’s that today is looking like it’s NOT going to be “a good day” for Simon O’Connor. I’ve lived in the Tamaki electorate for the entire time he’s been M.P. I saw him for the first time ever last Saturday at a cafe. He’s the invisible man.
If you believe Luxon’s religious views aren’t going to be foisted on us if he becomes Prime Minister I’d be thinking again. No alcohol was allowed at any social function for staff at any venue used by AirNZ at any time during his tenure as CEO. Fun times.
@MitchJamesNZ I did mean on AirNZ premises so my apologies if I didn’t make that clear. Other CEO’s before and after him would and do serve alcohol at on premise staff functions after working hours.
@gingereejit Absolutely correct if working. I mean after work functions. Friday night functions if you’re working a 9-5 job. Other CEO’s haven’t and don’t have that ruling.
Dr’s reading prepared statements on our rising Covid numbers and how we are going to employ more Health staff in the future are not making me feel encouraged. Come back Ashley 🥺
@christi45330016@minhealthnz Being vaccinated doesn’t stop you getting Covid. Having a good outcome if you are is not a given. The less Covid that is in the community the less people become unwell. NSW and QLD are giving very strong messaging again re mask use and they have less cases per capita than we do
Sooo @minhealthnz we are now very clearly in the middle of another Covid wave with 21,595 new cases in the last week and 56 deaths. You seem strangely quiet. Where is the advice to mask up?
