@NafYochanan@ChicagoFantasy2@NRA@realDonaldTrump And you still left out the part that indicates it is a misdemeanor of which the first offense is a 25 dollar fine, which can be immediately dismissed by going into the Police station and showing you were legally allowed to carry, dumbass.
@NafYochanan@ChicagoFantasy2@NRA@realDonaldTrump And it's not even a "Oh I have to wait for court and fight it in court" it literally says you can show up at the officer's office and show proof you were legally allowed to carry and they have to dismiss it.
Nowhere does it say it is a death sentence.
@NafYochanan@ChicagoFantasy2@NRA@realDonaldTrump He was legally carrying. The fact the only thing to do to get a citation for failure to carry an ID is to prove you could legally carry at the time means he was legally carrying.
It's actually the same process that happens if you forget your Driver's License while driving.
@NafYochanan@ChicagoFantasy2@NRA@realDonaldTrump (b) A citation issued for violating paragraph (a) must be dismissed if the person demonstrates, in court or in the office of the arresting officer, that the person was authorized to carry the pistol at the time of the alleged violation.
@NafYochanan@ChicagoFantasy2@NRA@realDonaldTrump A violation of this paragraph is a petty misdemeanor. The fine for a first offense must not exceed $25. Notwithstanding section 609.531, a firearm carried in violation of this paragraph is not subject to forfeiture.

@traxstarrr "By himself" he has at least 3 guards with him. One directly behind him, another off to the left and I'm betting one standing nearby the camera man.
@Tykry3@0x_Breeze@PopCrave I mean it's not like we're seeing massive reforms on that front either. So you can call the problem whatever you want, the point remains the same it isn't getting fixed.
@Jaguarsfan43078@0x_Breeze@PopCrave So when the number of people dying to gun violence is higher than the number of people dying in cars you'll want reform?
@sockler101 @galacticcbobaa There were still school shootings in the 1900s... they've been happening since the 1840s. In the 60s there were 100 school shootings. 70s had 49. The 80s had around 79. And the 90s had 123. In comparison the 00s had 88. The 10s had 259. The 20s so far have had 287.
