America seriously needs to repeal its first amendment. It's not a popular opinion but the UK can enforce cable news neutrality and ban Russia Today only because it doesn't have a first amendment equivalent
don't get me wrong i'm sure agi is two months away and chatgpt has plenty of valid use cases in its current state. but if i suspend disbelief and use it the way i'm tempted to now, pretty sure i'll get ass-blasted by plausible lies
chatgpt isn't doing it for me. i wanted to answer a technical question with more certainty that scanning code/docs and less work than creating a proof of concept. no hits on google
the robot gave me an answer, but it was so mealy-mouthed i know not to believe it
just wasn't credible. you could feel it assembling an answer one pat phrase and likely-next-word at a time. the result sounded answer-y but inspired zero confidence
