@DustedandBlue @mdf200 @GalleryOfPLAY @RetCollective @gtacommunitysol @NtlMuseumsScot <ponders> I think Grant was mostly working on other projects at the point I wrote the credit list, which was relatively long before release. Or he hadn’t returned a book I’d loaned him. One of the two 😳

With #GTA6 nearing launch, it's worth remembering where it all started.

This first image spawned the first prototype, which in turn helped spawn the second. And the rest as they say.... is history.

You can see a printout of this image, just over my shoulder. This picture was taken while making the prototypes, sometime in 1994.

Tiny Fishing Villages Crowdfunder has now finished. We didn’t hit the £5,000 target, so match funding didn’t activate - but we still raised £310, and I’m grateful for every bit of support. Thank you to everyone who pledged. Onwards to the next update.

Enjoying some time away to explore Japan after TGS, but the fact Donut Panic is still at 100% positive reviews is blowing my mind and I can't wait to get into the final stretch of development!

Huge thanks to anyone who's played, streamed or reviewed the demo, it means a lot ❤️

I'm delighted to have been asked to deliver one of the keynotes at this year's @ApacheCon event in #Glasgow.

I'll be talking about #MoreThanGames: the impact on games outside the consumer market.

Found this in my archives. It's the source of the "dino.exe" name that #GTA1 inherited (via it's DINO.BAT).

It was listed as "Darrens Dino Game".

Unless this was Attack! I have no idea what this game concept was. This would have been the demo that I drew the Isometric picture for, and the code framework would then be used for the first #GTA Prototype

Our yearly DMA Design meal was, once again…. Lovely. We’ve been so lucky having such an amazing group of people to have worked with, and who helped create games that have truly changed the world. 😎
