I'm still making my dream game even it's hard and I'm so busy.

Testing explosion debris mechanics — added a dissolve effect so the fragments don't clutter the screen.

Testing the new blue explosion VFX for my sci-fi game today. 💥 Making sure the impact and particle spread feel satisfying to the player. Visual feedback is a fun challenge as a solo dev.

@kanowins Marketing is so damn hard, especially for someone who has no budget like me

[Flak Monkey @flakmonkeygame]

I used to think coding was the hardest part of solo indie dev. I was wrong. 🧵
Environment design is the real soul-crusher. When you’re solo, you’re forced to wear too many hats.

@taurilabs That primitives is not triscount I thought, when I turn off shadows it comes down to 500K tris, this confused me 😕

First shader is mine, the second one is from Godotshaders.
I'll use mine for my stylized toon world.

@starhoundstudio Thank you! Honestly didn't expect my shader works like a charm for me — still a lot to refine but really glad it reads well

I found a very fast and interesting work flow for models in my game, of course it's stylized.
