@RedactedIguana You will be able to find the occasional recent asus/lenovo/whatever with nice hardware on sale for 500-600. That’s what I did back in March and I’ve been really happy. Just need it mostly for basic stuff and it crushes. If you want to go higher, the mac sounds right for you
