🚨C/2025 A6 (Lemmon): The Next Naked Eye Comet?

Another Comet Inbound!

Discovered in Jan 2025, Comet Lemmon is racing toward perihelion on Nov 8, 2025 at just 0.53 AU from the Sun.

Predictions are that it could peak at magnitude 4–6, flirting with naked eye visibility.
Orbital period: 1,350 years inbound, shortened to 1,155 years outbound, meaning this is a once in a millennium visitor.

Its nucleus size is still a mystery, but its coma has already grown from arcseconds to a full arcminute as it brightens.

Eyes to the sky this fall, Comet Lemmon may be 2025’s surprise show.
