I'm working on something that is going to bring hardcore gamers on chain en masse for the first time.
What I'm about to pull off is going to put most of the current Web3 gaming landscape to absolute shame.
The industry is too caught up in budgets and graphics and extracting value from players. In other words, it's all the worst of tradGaming, amplified.
Making a "AAA" quality game doesn't need a $100M budget or insane 3D graphics, it just needs to be fun and player-centric - many such examples.
I'm going to give the world something that is just as fun as the best of tradGaming, while using blockchain to be more fair and less extractive to players, like how blockchain was always meant to be used.
I've put together a team of 7 very talented people (+one AI), with backgrounds in design, engineering, art, marketing, and BD who I've worked very closely with for years, both personally and professionally. We're all so tight-knit and believe in this vision so passionately that we're all willing to work for sweat equity to realize it.
We join the likes of Amazon and Facebook as a company with a 6-figure bootstrapped start.
I'm posting this alpha now because I want the earnest of CT to join us and get in at the ground level (if you've read this far, that's you, please join!!). Shoot me a follow as I grow my social media presence and when we're ready I'm going to drop a Discord with OG roles to keep track of everyone who found us and kept up. More info to come.
With love❤️

I'm an at-will employee there and @ItsWuwy was a contractor for art. We don't get to make the calls on what happens in that business. We've never bought or sold shares. IIRC we've never sold any of our MicroBuddies. Hell of a scam for us.
Full transparency: What I got was a raise that narrowly outpaces the inflation of the last few years (I make less than $100k), and shares as a part of the stock incentive plan, which again, I have not sold anything as of this tweet. I've only paid taxes on them as they are taxed as income🙃
I am confident nobody has felt the pain of the past year+ more than me. I allowed myself to become the face of MB and have received a great deal of hate for decisions that were utterly out of my control. My baby was bastardized and it both feels and reflects horribly on me.
Despite that, I don't think this story is over yet. There are tons of talented people involved with this company who are more than capable of turning things around, we just have to get out of our own way. I try not to hold grudges. I fight for you all in the MB community internally. For professional reasons I've historically done my best to stay on the same page as the company publicly, but internally I am aligned with many of the same things as our community. I want us to improve our communication, our transparency, our focus, and our execution.
These are my personal feelings and I'm sticking my neck out to write this, but I know so many of you are frustrated and the absolute least I can do is have enough of a spine to respond. I'm sorry. It's been a long time coming for me to take the initiative.
