@Brady_H@kennymoriyama No offense, but you get to be my age, the only thing that matters is your overall fitness. Mine is very good, but I always stressed balance in my life. Time for my wife, 3 kids, work.
If you have 3 or more of the following risk factors, you have Metabolic Syndrome.
That means you are sick and unhealthy and your quality of life is going to go downhill quiclky if it hasn't already.
That said, I believe that if you have ANY of these, you are unhealthy.
I don’t care how strong you are, or that you can run a marathon.
Here they are:
1. Waist size > 40" (men) and 35" (women).
2. Blood pressure > 130/85
3. Fasting blood sugar > 100
4. Triglycerides > 150
5. HDL < 40 (men) and 50 (women)
Again, if you have any of these, you need to start making some lifestyle changes.
These are all reversible with diet and exercise.
But the longer you wait, the harder it gets to reverse these symptoms.
