Scottish woman. Principles: be who you are, but don’t harm others; debate with facts, evidence, honesty, logic and kindness. Keen ailouroboskos (cat-feeder).
Interesting thing. Most of the feel good posts you see are all about kindness. Nothing huge, nothing dramatic. Just small kindnesses. Kindness and honesty are the two most important virtues.
@ghost_wales@wesstreeting Why should I do it for you? You’re the one who made the claim. Now back it up with evidence. Then I’ll debate, if you make a decent job of it.
@wesstreeting@AlanWyllie77 …because the thing about religion is, if you claim to be a member of one, you don’t get to pick and choose. You have to do everything it tells you to, whether you like them or not.
@wesstreeting@AlanWyllie77 Ok then Wes, give us your thoughts on the teachings of Jesus about loving one another, rescuing those in difficulty no matter who they are, the Beatitudes, all that. Things that you may not think directly benefit you, in other words.
@GavinRossPhoto@curlowurly@theSNP There were no votes for independence. It was votes for MSPs. And on directly elected ones, SNP got 57, Labour 3 and Reform 0. Never lose sight of that in your unionist arithmetic, a thing of fantasy anyway.
@SandyGilp@curlowurly@theSNP Woulda, coulda, shoulda. None of it changes what happened. And given that the SNP got 57 directly-elected seats to Lab’s 3 and Reform’s 0, what precisely do you think would have changed anyway?
A member of the public steals £400k from his employer over a 12 year period and we've now had 12 days of headlines, saturation coverage and propaganda.
An elected official breaches the ministerial code/UK law and Scotland's colonial media couldn't drop the story fast enough.
@KennyKnigh63134@LucasSa56947288 Biden is gone. Does it please you that his successor also falls asleep while working, in plain sight? I don’t understand what point you’re trying to make.
