Today, I delivered a statement at the discussion on “The Future of Multilateralism: Building the UN Development System for the Post-2030 Era.”
As we look beyond 2030, we must ensure that the United Nations Development System remains fit for purpose not only for the remainder of the #2030Agenda, but for the challenges and opportunities that lie beyond it.
The future of the United Nations cannot be designed by institutions alone. It must be shaped through stronger partnership and solidarity. The engagement of civil society, youth, academia, local authorities, the private sector and other stakeholders will be essential if we are to build a development system that remains relevant and effective in the decades ahead.
The choices we make today will help shape a multilateral system that can deliver for future generations. #SDGs #GlobalGoals
