@mackron @FlohOfWoe Any wayland compositor supports high and independent DPI. SwayWM is an extremely popular tiling wm, and there are others that use the same fundamental technology, i.e. riverwm, hikari, labwm.
Beware that new proprietary GPUs don't support wayland, though, i.e. nvidia.

@KimKulling I agree with most of the current answers: Focus on what is important to you. As long as nobody has you under employment - at which point I would request a Project Manager - you can focus on what you deem worthy of your time/attention. For anything else respond "PRs welcome".
