@HandsomePizza @kyletwebster @MitchGerads My point is that sanctimonious and tiresome "those bad people of bad morals are spreading the plague" is just functionaly useless. Masks and vaccines are simply not going to stop it. If it were, somewhere in the world would have done it by now.
Let's focus on acceptable risk.

But can we acknowledge that the vaccine is simply not the big solution? My wife and I both have Covid, right now. Vaccination made no difference, and she (vaccinated) is worse than me (immuno-cardio unvaccinated)

Get vaccinated, wear a mask. Understand that neither are guarantees at all, and only slightly shift risks.

This is the problem. This irrational need to assign blame, as if Covid is the result of moral failings.
No, the problem is that a LOT of people who vaccinated early are getting infected now. People who vaccinated in January are testing with no antibodies in July.

I'm pro-vaccine, but we need to recognize the vaccine protection is neither long-term nor universal and stop acting like people who get sick deserve it for not complying. We simply have zero control over who gets very sick with Covid.

How do I know? Because I know vaccinated people who are in the hospital with Covid today.
Because my wife and I both have Covid right now, and one of us was not able to get vaccinated, and one was.
