But I do like getting numbers that are divisible by more than one other number because that usually means I got the answer to a math problem right lol

@hangukdrama Oh I've given up on that one. It was sent via airmail; seller isn't even attempting to resend it.
Luckily that was just a cheap booklet, not a textbook.
But now I'm considering EMS for textbooks and that's a bit of a bigger gamble so I wondered if parcels've started leaving Korea

@LanguageLCloud Technically a mobile version, but yeah, the webpage in a browser. It always works perfectly for me so I never bothered installing the app, having to learn new layout, and burdening my phone's memory.
But if you like the app then great. The most important is to enjoy studying! 👍

@Makka_luv_bunz It is like possessive 's in English. "Mark's book". "s" is a possessive suffix bcs it indicates possession. 마크의 means "Mark's."

But for words like 거의 "almost," it's not a suffix, it's just how the word is spelled.

So 마크의 is pronounced [마크에], 거의 is pronounced [거이]

There are very simple rules! If I remember correctly, it is pronounced as:

1. [ㅢ] at the beginning of the word, like 의자 and 의사

2. [ㅣ] everywhere else in the word, like 거의 [거이] and 희망 [히망]

3. [ㅔ] only if 의 is used as possessive suffix, like 학생의 책 [학생에 책]

I don’t think I’m ever gonna master the pronunciation of “의” ...
Sometimes it’s “이”
Sometimes it’s “에”
Sometimes it’s “으이”

@MissMusain Thank you for the info. I am not able to use any digital audio or video resources because they give me seizures, so it's just me and the textbooks. Luckily, I love textbooks :) My listening and speaking skills are non-existant, though 😫

@MissMusain I don't have a choice, but I actually prefer it this way. No time wasted getting dressed, getting ready, commuting, waiting for the class to start, etc. It seems much more efficient.
Although I do regret not meeting other Korean learners. ☹
