@Rising_West@Paula8178681@Bill_Badbody Oh, so it has to be both parents then? So, Paul McGrath isn't Irish?
So... If you don't mind me asking. What nationality do kids of mixed nationality parents have under your system? Let's say the kid of Irish and French parents?
@Paula8178681@Bill_Badbody So... Someone can never "become" Irish to your mind? And what about their children? Because apparently their parents can't be considered Irish... So presumably their kids can't be either? You see where this is going, right?
@Lotra_Sm@nikicaga I was on a train in Wales a while back, and you had kids and grandparents happily talking away Welsh to each other, and the parents in the middle with not a clue what they were saying.
Hopefully the same thing is gradually happening here.
@Lotra_Sm@nikicaga There has been immense growth in gaelscoileanna. It's gone from 16 to ~250 in the last 40 year. I believe they are the most oversubscribed of all school types in Ireland. I think any revival will pass the current generation of parents by.
@youlum@DennisLaws95789@blaiklockBP@TiffSandwiches And this is also deemed acceptable for halal slaughter in the UK. 58% on halal certified poultry was stunned before slaughter in the UK in 2018

@_sonderlust_@puffpuff65 There is also no LOI games mid-week, so they can go to both. There is also the fact that a lot of LOI grounds are sold out every week, due to popularity and let's say sub-optimal stadia.
@puffpuff65 You'll often find that most of them do also support a LOI team, but it's always good to have someone on hand to police what people are and aren't allowed enjoy.
I see we are at the phase where Fashion Articles about the presumptive heiress to one of the bloodiest dictatorships in the world are seen as a good idea. Fantastic.

@Fuckthisapp3839@somanossar@Pirat_Nation Me? I have nothing to do with them, and I'm against this change, and don't use chrome browser. I just find it amusing when people get all "How could they do this?" about things like this, when they agreed to them by being too lazy to read.
