@JCooperusa @tomphillipsin @Princeton Deforestation increased -significantly- once Bolsonaro got there, oppositely, deforestation dropped -significantly- while Marina Silva and Lula where in power. Those are the actual facts from INPE’s data. Do not mindlessly and grossly distort it.

@JCooperusa @tomphillipsin You are distorting the data, trying to manipulate (or being manipulated by) other people. Deforestation was heavily reduced AFTER Lula, but perhaps most importantly Marina Silva, got into power in 2003. What you refer as record high was a result of previous mandates.

Nice thread! Different teams will have different approaches to this, I personally like to mix both, going for “breadth first” to help define scope and iterate on ideas faster and then “depth first” after a few iterations, refactoring what we got so far.
