Most people think you need months and a dev/marketing team to launch an online brand.
Here’s how you can build a Shopify store + thriving community in under 45 mins.
A playbook you’ll actually use 👇
The two tools you need:
> Loveable that builds your Shopify store from plain English.
>Meringoo that turns your customers into superfans through community rewards.
Step 1: Spin up your store (10 mins)
Go to Lovable and type:
“Create a Shopify store for eco-friendly skincare with minimalist pastel vibes.”
AI does the rest. builds your theme, product pages, checkout, even branding.
No Figma. No plugins. No other third party tools. No headache.
It’s like having a Shopify co-founder on demand.
Step2: tell it
“Add 5 skincare products: cleanser, serum, toner, moisturizer, sunscreen.”
Lovable uploads stock images, writes SEO copy (“Glow like never before ✨”), and sets up your catalog.
Boom. your store looks better than 90% of what’s on Etsy. Because loveable has the taste.
Step3:
Hit “Publish.”
——
Lovable connects your domain, tests payments, and launches your Shopify store live.
Now you’re officially a brand owner.
Total time: ~20-30 mins.
Traditional timeline: 3 weeks and 4 coffee breakdowns.
⸻
Turn your store into a community (5 mins)
Enter meringoo
It connects directly with Shopify.
Pulls in your customers.
Creates your brand hub: polls, challenges, rewards.
Instantly transforms your buyers into a tribe.
Example:
“Share your glow-up story using our serum = 50 points.”
“Vote on our next scent drop = early access.”
You’re not just selling.
You’re building social capital.
And when people belong, they buy again.
——
Here’s why this combo slaps 👇
Speed: Store + community in <15 mins.
Automation: AI handles setup, you focus on storytelling.
Retention: 2x engagement vs email lists.
Growth: Community loops cut acquisition cost by 30%.
This is the new creator stack.
You don’t need VC funding.
You need an idea, AI, and a tribe that cares.
The internet already gave us the tools.
Now it’s giving us leverage.

Let’s build the next wave of community-powered brands together.
When did shopping stop being fun?
Meringoo has been a product for consumers and brands that actually value community growth.
Participation and engagement when clubbed with content goes a long way in creating a brand that people are obsessed with!
The last few months have been different.
I spent them in Baroda with family. Became a mama to twins. Those first raw, beautiful weeks of feeding schedules, sleepless nights, watching two tiny humans just exist. Time with my sister. It was a pause I didn't know I needed.
But while I was pausing, meringoo was still. Not stuck, just... still.
The kind of still where you're moving but nothing's moving forward. Where you're pushing but the world isn't pushing back.
I tried to scale it the way you're supposed to with hustle and grit and a bootstrapped dream. Built a retention customer experience for D2C brands, pitched the vision, fought for every conversation. But the market has other plans in mind. It cares about timing, distribution, and a dozen other things you can't control from a google sheet and lack of resources.
The truth is, I was building what I thought I should build.
And then the comparison started creeping in. Friends climbing ladders. Friends scaling teams. Friends hitting milestones I haven't even touched yet.
I'm turning 26 this year. And some days it feels like I'm way behind. Really, really behind.
That weight of time slipping, of peers moving faster, of wondering if I took a wrong turn somewhere it got heavy.
So I did what I had to do. I reached out. Took on client work again.
Small projects at first. Real money. Real problems to solve. Companies that needed design, needed product thinking, needed someone who could build fast and build right.
And I loved it. (It was a paycheck after A WHILE, but apart from that, I remembered what I'd forgotten: I want to build things that work.)
Products that feel right in people's hands. Interfaces that make sense. Systems that solve real problems.
Meringoo was my education. I learned how hard it is to create something from nothing. How lonely it gets when you're bootstrapping. How brutal the market can be when you're slightly too early or slightly too niche.
But I also learned this: I'm not a growth hacker. I'm not a fundraising founder. I'm a builder. Product + design. That's my language. That's where I go deep.
Flipturn Labs & Meringoo have been crucial in the care for craft.
It's tough. Some days it feels like starting over. Like I lost a year. But that's not true. I didn't lose anything. I learned what I'm actually good at.
Now it's time to grind. Not the performative grind. The real one. The one where you show up every day and get better at the thing you were meant to do. (Hope it stays)
I'm looking for opportunities product roles, design work, problems worth solving.
And I'm still building Meringoo, just differently now. With clarity instead of just conviction.
I'll try to share more of this journey. The builds. The lessons. The failures that teach you more than the wins.
Let's see where this takes me.
Just tried @Spotify DJ feature in Beta!
ITS SOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD.
Chose daft funky to start the day off, and the song choices are soooo good!
My fav was the AI DJ talking to me, Felt so personalised.
“Switch it up”starts off with top artists. I like the association of top artists with the mood. And omg the transition between songs are actually quite epic.
From product pov I really see how this can increase my minutes spent on app.
Epic feature ++++
If 2025 was the year community commerce proved it could move markets, 2026 will be the year it redefines how brands grow. Consumer behavior, social platforms, creators, and AI are converging into a new operating system for commerce — one powered by people, not ads.
Here are the 10 biggest shifts I predict to shape the year ahead.
This split feature on chrome is actually quite cool.
Some use cases I see people using it on:
1) figma on one and YouTube on the other
2) docs of some protocol or framework on one, ChatGPT, perplexity, etc. on the other helping me understand and brainstorm
3) two llm models side by side - multiple tasks in one window. For eg: image gen on mid journey, veo3 on the other
4) WhatsApp/discord/email/meeting on one, sheets/software on the other
5) job interview on one, google/perplexity on the other 🤣🤣 (cluely killer?)
How are you guys using it
@RossMackay111 This is brilliant Ross. “You listen, you adapt, you sharpen” love how this is translating in how you’re thinking and then further into how you’re packaging it!
Definitely gonna checkout your breakdown on YT
