Hey Twitter, it's been a while. Came here to tell you about a thing I made over the weekend. It's a Water Sort Puzzle solver – the first A* algorithm I implemented since uni. kthxbye

Für ein Projekt an der Uni #FOM haben wir die Arbeitszufriedenheit, Belastung und Betriebsklima im Lockdown erhoben. Mit der Veröffentlichung der Daten fühlt es sich erst abgeschlossen an. 🤓🥳💪

Just merged "metric.h" into the @collectd 6 branch, providing "metric_t" and "metric_family_t". These data structures are the foundation of the ongoing metric label work.

Made some progress on @collectd version 6 today: https://t.co/eXzhGqK4Gu removes the "absolute" metric type. These were counters that get reset to zero when read, which isn't really a thing.
Will be adding the metric_t and metric_family_t types next.
AI is full of promise, with the potential to revolutionize so many different areas of modern society.
In order to realize its true potential, our field needs to be welcoming to all people. As it stands today, it is definitely not.
Our field has a problem with inclusiveness.
Is there a tool to mass-migrate @Github pull requests to a different branch? I want to update 100+ pull requests so they use "main" as the base branch, instead of "master".
I've spent some time over the last few weeks implementing #OpenMetrics in #collectd. This allows to add an arbitrary number of labels to a metric, instead of the previous host/plugin/type tuple. The picture shows labelled CPU metrics in the Cloud Monitoring metrics explorer.
@energy_charts
@4mig4@jpmens How about we embrace progress instead? Being inclusive to all is desperately needed in tech and I bet a change in terminology is merely a slight inconvenience to you.
