Introducing @shyptfun by Lola
This all started because we wanted to allow holders to burn tokens to claim plushies for Lola but in the process of planning this we realized we had a MASSIVE issue.
Our team / the claim platform shouldn’t be a point of failure for a database of people’s wallets tied to their home address.
It’s just not safe.
Kidnappings, extortion etc are unfortunately a reality when dealing with self sovereign assets like crypto.
While trying to find a way around this, we realized this was a massive problem for web3 in general and that it stops a lot of community building because people are anxious to tie their home address to their wallets to get physical goods.
So we made Shypt a platform that encrypts your address so that the platform nor campaign creator can see it.
When you buy or claim any drop on Shypt your address is encrypted verifiably.
It will only be decrypted once by an autonomous agent that will handle fulfillment with a third party on its own, then delete the information forever.
This way the info is never on our servers or given to any campaign creators using Shypt.
Only the third party fulfillment center will receive it and it will not be tied to any wallet.
The initial drop is live now and you can burn 100k $Lola tokens and you get an otter plushie shipped to you.
Then our partners will roll out their campaigns that have been pre planned prior to this rollout.
All fees generated go to buyback and burn of Lola.
Once the initial few campaigns go live we will open this tech up to everyone in crypto because we believe this is vital for web3 to grow into the real world.
Whether you’re an app, @Pumpfun coin, perp platform, etc in web3
Fear of addresses leaking shouldnt be a hurdle overcome when community building through physical items.
If you are a coin or project on @solana and want to do a campaign, our dms are open.
Otherwise you can wait for the V2 launch where it’s open to everyone.
