🇿🇼 Zimbabwe Emerging as a Regional Transformer Manufacturing Hub
Zimbabwe is steadily strengthening its position as a regional manufacturing hub for electricity transformers, with ZESA Enterprises (ZENT) expanding exports and pursuing new opportunities across Southern Africa.
The company is currently engaged in discussions with Mozambique as part of its strategy to widen regional market access and increase exports of locally manufactured electrical equipment. This follows successful deliveries of transformers to Zambia and Rwanda, demonstrating growing regional confidence in Zimbabwean engineering and manufacturing capabilities.
The expansion reflects the country's broader industrialisation drive, which prioritises value addition, import substitution, export growth, and job creation. By manufacturing critical power infrastructure locally, Zimbabwe is not only meeting domestic demand but also contributing to regional energy development through the supply of reliable electrical equipment.
As countries across the Southern African Development Community continue investing in electricity generation, transmission, and distribution networks, demand for transformers and related equipment is expected to rise. This presents significant opportunities for Zimbabwean manufacturers to expand their footprint and strengthen the country's role in regional trade.
With increased production capacity, technical expertise, and a growing export market, ZENT is helping position Zimbabwe as an emerging centre for transformer manufacturing and electrical engineering solutions in Africa.

When Harare had Cholera outbreak we suplied them with thousands of drips (IV fluids)
When doctors went on strike in 2020 we ran the Citizwean Clinic which provided free healthcare to more than 5000 seniors and children countrywide
When Covid happened we provided PPEs to hospitals and clinics in all the 10 provinces of this country.
Apart from the $45k Diaspora grant we got from @UNmigration to build another block at Masibinta, all these projects have been funded by you guys. We have raised close to $300K over the past 5 years and have impacted more than 20 000 people.
Don't let anyone take away your worth. Every $ you have given has helped someone you may never meet. Thank you for doing good without expecting a return.
Having said this, let's do this again for Chingwizi. These are children who were displaced from their homes by the constrction of Tokwe-Mukosi dam. They need a shot at life https://t.co/xBb2Ddn5BH

Mining Companies must be forced to invest in Power Generation Plants to meet their Power needs. In Canada every Mining Company generates its own electricity ⚡️ and at times sells excess electricity into Grid.
In Africa Mining Companies are exploiting cheap subsidized electricity instead of Mining Companies investing in Power plants. Chrome Mines, Gold Mines, Lithium Mines etc must build their own Power Plants to meet their Energy Needs.
There are tons of “smart people” who never achieve much, because they overanalyze everything and always come up with a good excuse to justify why it’s not worth the risk.
@KuraChihota It’s heavy. For stands there’s also 15% VAT and Endowment! On building materials; in addition to those taxes, the transaction costs are so high unless you pay cash.
What are the *investment options in real estate for people preparing for passive income in retirement*? Are there any options for the international investor besides owning properties? @KuraChihota , @FinLitBae , @kudzie_sharara
