“Il cambiamento non solo è una necessità, è la condizione per la sopravvivenza e per la qualità della vita che vuoi vivere.”
Cit. 6AM Review @FrancescoFavaro#mondayinspiration
Never confuse education with intelligence.
Intelligence isn't the ability to remember and repeat, like they teach you in school.
Intelligence is the ability to learn from experience, solve problems, and use our knowledge to adapt to new situations.

The difference between motion and action @JamesClear
Motion:
- talk to a personal trainer
- research your book idea
- explore different types of meditation
Action:
- do 10 squats
- write 1 sentence
- meditate for 1 minute
Motion feels like progress. Action is progress
Signs of an open mind:
Listening to opinions that make you think hard, not just views that make you feel good
Choosing friends based on the decency of their behavior, not the similarity of their beliefs
Seeing disagreement as a chance to learn, not a threat to your ego
You don’t have to agree with every idea in a book, article, or podcast to recommend it.
Sometimes the ideas that challenge our thinking are the ones that teach us the most.
The point of learning is not to affirm our beliefs. It's to evolve our beliefs.

A good apology isn’t about intentions. It’s about impact.
I didn’t mean to hurt you. I’m sorry I did. And I promise to do better next time.
Sometimes we’re so focused on defending our motives that we fail to see and acknowledge the consequences of our actions.
#SundayThoughts
We focus too much on trying to live up to others' expectations—and too little on forming and fulfilling our own expectations of ourselves.
To separate image from identity, ask what goals you would pursue if no one would ever find out what you achieved.

Don't take feedback as a judgment of you. Think of it as a judgment of a performance you gave.
No athlete or musician ever delivers a flawless performance. Neither will you.
Gauge your success by the progress you make from one performance to the next.
#SaturdayThoughts
Failure is not a goal. It's a yardstick for measuring your progress toward the goal of learning.
If you never fail, it's time to embrace bolder challenges and new experiments.
If you always fail, it's time to be more disciplined about learning from experience.

If you set out to cheat and deceive others you’ll be tense and anxious in case you’re found out. But if you live your life and conduct your business on the basis of truth and honesty, it gives you a sense of satisfaction and self-confidence that is also a source of inner strength
When people disappoint us, it’s not due to their actions. It’s because their actions fell short of our expectations.
You can’t control what people do, but you can choose not to let their actions drive your emotions.
